Gestalt is an existential, experiential type of therapy that focuses upon the individualís experience in the present moment and the self-regulating adjustments people make to adapt to their day-to-day environment. It is a holistic approach to mind, body, and culture and involves the active participation of the client in experiments designed to bring awareness and, ultimately, self-appreciation in order, to become their best and most successful selves.
